بركان ماروم هبط جيف ماكلي مغامر وعالِم براكين نيوزيلندي في فوهة بركان "ماروم" على جزيرة "أمبرين"التي تبلغ مساحتها 30 ميلاً، وتبعد 1500 ميل عن الساحل الشمالي الغربي لأستراليا.؛ ليصبح على بُعد 27 متراً من الحمم البركانية،التي تصل درجة حرارتها إلى 1150 درجة مئوية.
